Competition from emerging sourcing destinations is forcing apparel exporters to expand to new markets and to explore cost saving opportunities. In such an environment, a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) can help manufacturers to standardize processes, adopt industry’s best practices, and improve straight through percentage (rework). To brace up to the challenge, apparel manufacturers are increasingly exploring QMS tools like TQM, ISO and Six Sigma Quality systems.
